About CommunityForce
As part of our Customer Charter, we made a commitment to help the communities in which we live and work. The result is CommunityForce – a platform that empowers local projects and charities to raise awareness of their work and make their plans a reality with the support of RBS and their local community.

Projects have won
an award
What's happened so far?
Earlier this year, hundreds of charities and community groups applied to be part of CommunityForce. As well as raising awareness of their work on the CommunityForce website, each stood to win an award of £6,000 to put towards their valuable work.
In total, over a thousand eligible applications were made and went forward to the public vote that began in September. There was a brilliant response from the public who visited the site, looked at the projects taking part and voted for their favourites in their thousands.
With the votes counted and checked, this year's winners have now been announced. You can find out more about the projects who won, and see who came out on top in your area below or by clicking here.
What are we doing now?
CommunityForce is about more than making a financial contribution and so doesn't stop here.
Having provided a platform for projects to raise awareness of their work, we're also now giving our time and expertise and encouraging local people to use their own time and talents to support causes close to their heart.
From helping to improve the lives of vulnerable families to protecting natural habitats and supporting art, culture and education, lots of people have already pledged to give their time to support causes across England and Wales.
If you would like to volunteer, it's easy to get involved. It could be for one of the winners, or in support of another local project that takes your interest.

What else are we doing?
We’re delighted to announce that CommunityForce is working with Localgiving.com to help provide a sustainable future for local charities and community groups.
Localgiving.com gives individuals the ability to find, learn about and support local charities and community groups who may be too small to be registered with the Office of the Scottish Charity Register and therefore often find it difficult to receive funding. Through Localgiving.com, local charities and community groups are able to access new supporters and raise awareness and funds online.
All of the applicants participating in CommunityForce can sign up to receive a free 6 month trial with no obligation to continue. The trial includes a free validation process to verify that all groups are eligible to receive funding.
Many CommunityForce groups are already fundraising on Localgiving.com. Learn more about how Localgiving.com is helping your community, or could help your organisation, by visiting Localgiving.com.
